I understand you use CrazyTalk to do the lip-sync. How do you use CrazyTalk with SecondLife?

Hey all!
Thanks so much for your interest in the show and in the facial animations.
Without getting into rediculous detail, I choose a suitable frame of the video footage to use as the 'face-base' shot that I bring (just the face via a green-screen outline) into crazy-talk. After using CT to animate the faces (painstakingly! to get the right expressions at the right moments) I then bring the greenscreened talking face back into my video editor and motion control it across the original footage to capture all of the characters original head movements.
While CT is a great product and gives us our lip-syching ability, there is a lot more work involved in making the illusion believeable. I hope you're all inspired to create more machinima! Thanks so much for watching and tell your friends!
Stay tuned for a new episode today!
Cheers,
Trent Hedges

Thanks for your explanation, Trent.
I'm not sure what "to capture all of the characters original head movements" involves. Your video editor must be 2D and the movements 3D. In addition to the lip-sync and facial expressions are you also reproducing the head movement in CT?
"I hope you're all inspired to create more machinima!" Actually, I'm inspired to create easier lip-sync so that everybody else can create more machinima. :-)
